BROTHERHOOD
Men supporting men, fathers building legacies, and bonds that continue long after the trip ends.
Dearden2007 Brotherhood Campouts bring men, fathers, and sons together to step away from everyday pressure, learn real outdoor skills, build stronger relationships, and speak honestly beside the fire.
Men supporting men, fathers building legacies, and bonds that continue long after the trip ends.
Camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, fire-starting, mountain climbing, and practical confidence.
A place to tell stories, talk about struggles, listen to pain, ask questions, and offer respectful advice.
Around the fire, campers may share any story they choose. Nobody is pressured to speak. The goal is peace, respect, listening, understanding, and giving men and boys room to release what they have been carrying.
Tent setup, campsite basics, cooking, preparation, and respect for the land.
Low-pressure time by the water where conversation can happen naturally.
Supervised activities focused on safety, patience, responsibility, and conservation.
Movement, shared challenges, and time away from the noise of daily life.
Safe preparation, ignition, fire maintenance, and proper extinguishing.
Planned challenges matched to experience, mobility, equipment, and conditions.
Time to reconnect, teach responsibility, and build lasting memories.
Food, teamwork, practical skills, and shared responsibility around camp.
Most outings are designed primarily for men, fathers, and sons. Selected family days may welcome wives, girlfriends, daughters, and relatives. Partners can learn how to listen without judgment, communicate with respect, and help men feel safe enough to speak honestly and be themselves.
Illegal drugs and personal weapons are not allowed during general camp activities.
Permitted only for designated supervised hunting activities and secured by Dearden2007 during non-hunting times.
Soda and food are available. Beer or a small bar area may be offered to adults 21+ with limited, responsible drinking.
As funding and volunteers grow, outings will include designated safety, first-aid, attendance, and equipment leaders.
Dates, locations, activities, RSVP deadlines, available spaces, and packing information will appear here.
