Why Dearden2007 Exists
Pain became a promise to help.
Dearden2007 grew from personal loss, a father’s struggle to remain connected to his son, and the realization that too many men suffer quietly without meaningful support. That experience became a promise: help men feel heard, help fathers keep going, and build practical resources that can create real change.
We are still building, but the mission is clear. Contributions help move planned programs from vision to action through outreach, advocacy, direct assistance when possible, community partnerships, and long-term services for men and families who feel forgotten.

Yes. You can select one main purpose. “Where Needed Most” is the default so support can be responsibly directed to the most important current need.
The redesigned page includes one-time and monthly giving choices. Monthly PayPal processing will need to be connected to a recurring-payment option before it becomes fully active.
PayPal generally provides a payment confirmation. Mail-in donors can receive acknowledgment after the payment is received and recorded. This is not currently a tax-deductible charitable receipt.
Yes. You may remain completely private or choose to appear publicly as “Anonymous Supporter.” No public recognition will occur without approval.
